on Retreat
Hot off the press:
It’s BACK!
The Marriage Enrichment Retreat for CFC Couples takes place on
September 15-17 at Emmaus Centre in Arima. Our organizers
promise us true depth and growth – a new way to look at your
marriage. So pray for the couples that God will put
everything in place to allow them to attend and focus on the
retreat.
Formation Formation
in the Ignatian Method of Spirituality has been regularly taking
place on Saturday mornings at Mt. St. Benedict. The
formation program produced by Intercessors of the Lamb is called
“Hearing God’s Voice and is a simplified lay-man’s manual to
guide us into the methods used by St. Ignatius of Loyala to attain
spiritual depth. Sessions have been led by a Core team of
Fr. Neil Rodriguez CSSp, Carl Lara, Carl Arneaud and 2 invited
guests. The first module of Silence, Prayer, Solitude and
Penance has just been completed and members report of increased
awareness of God and their deepening faith. This has been further
intensified by the personal spiritual direction provided to
participants by Fr. Rodriguez who is the official Spiritual
Director of Couples for Christ T&T. To Fr. Rodriguez and
his team we say sincere Thank You.
YFC T&T National Conference Kudos
continue to pour in about the excellent planning, prayer and level
of responsibility displayed by our YFC Executive Committed
(EXECOM). They organized and hosted a fantastic day of
prayer, learning and growing at UWI on July 15th which
was thoroughly enjoyed by participants. In the words of one
observer “de talks was reaal good Auntie Claire, it was real real real good.”

Caribbean Conference – St. Maarten De one-week of youth activities, de organizing people from all over de Caribbean, de logistics of transport, de doing it all for de first time
– none of this daunted the St. Maarten CFC. Despite their
small numbers they thrilled attendees at this year’s Caribbean
Conference. The hotels were beautiful waterfront properties,
the youths made lasting leaps in Christ and they did it together,
the presentations were powerful. The T&T contingent all
had loud praise for our St. Maarten bretheren. Next year
it’s in St. Vincent so get ready!! Check our photo gallery for pictures
Music Music Our YFCs will be performing at Joyful Noise the fundraising concert for Archdiocesan Youth Secretariat. Tickets are TT$100.00 and are available for either the Saturday or Sunday evening show. Details below
Our full music ministry will be ministering at Jesus Explosion on Sunday 24 Sept at Preysal High School just off of Highway. Details below
